Terms of service
Updated 9 September 2026
The contracting party is Ertem Cabbar, a sole trader, trading as CarRange AI. These terms cover CarRange AI including paid monthly subscriptions. For consumers in Germany, the German version prevails.
1. Scope
CarRange AI is a digital service for uploading vehicle photos (and optional videos) and generating AI presentations: CR Video, CR View, CR Edit, CR Background and CR Listing Poster.
2. Contract formation
The paid subscription is formed when the user completes Stripe Hosted Checkout (the payment confirmation step is handled by Stripe).
Optional CR Credit packs are one-time Stripe payments, not subscriptions.
3. Basic / Pro / Ultra
Plans are monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled in time.
Each paid billing period grants the CR Credits shown for that plan at checkout. Internal test costs of individual AI operations are not fixed term prices.
4. CR Credits
CR Credits are an internal unit. They have no cash value, are not paid out, and are not transferable.
Optional credit packs, when offered, are one-time purchases and also have no cash value.
5. AI output
Results can vary and may contain artefacts. Review every output before publishing or commercial use.
6. Uploads
You must hold the rights to uploaded content. CarRange may process it as needed to perform the contract, including sending it to OpenAI and/or Runway.
7. Prohibited use
Unlawful content, circumvention of access or billing, abusive automation, and uploads without rights are prohibited.
8. Term and cancellation
Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period via “Verträge hier kündigen”. The subscription is not deleted immediately when you cancel at period end.
The Stripe Customer Portal does not by itself satisfy every statutory cancellation requirement.
9. Withdrawal
Consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal. See the withdrawal page. CarRange does not currently collect a checkout waiver for digital services (REVIEW REQUIRED).
10. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe.
11. Liability
Unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence of essential duties, liability is limited to typical foreseeable damage. Other slight negligence is excluded where legally permitted.
